The Snoqualmie Valley Farmers Cooperative is an organization of 20+ small, local farms working together to bring you fresh produce. Farmers run the show! Our member farms initiated and built the co-op so that they could spend less time on logistics and more time growing your food. In exchange, you get more diversity while supporting the whole local foodshed, not just one farm. All of our member farms utilize responsible environmental and food production practices- read our pledge to learn more.

Learn about our CSA

We want to be your CSA!  It is all about community and the Snoqualmie Valley Farmers Cooperative, a nonprofit farmers cooperative, is truly a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) effort in that we connect you, the health-conscious consumer with our local farmers to create an impressive weekly locally grown veggie box (with egg and fruit add-ons available) for you and your loved ones.

2019 CSA Veggie Boxes: June 20 to November 7, 2019

What differentiates our CSA from others is that we work to support more than 20 farmers living and working in the Snoqualmie Valley (just minutes from Seattle) as a nonprofit organization; to help build a sustainable economic model for our farming community; and to bring you the most fresh, nutritious and wholesome local produce (including eggs and fruit) to the greater Seattle area. You can help support our farming community through your Veggie Box subscription (add-on’s available) or make a donation of a Veggie Box to a charitable organization.  You can be assured we are committed to the careful stewardship of our farms, growing responsibly, and dedicated to working in harmony with nature.

The Snoqualmie Valley Farmers Coop Veggie Box is a unique way to get the very best of local produce while supporting a farmer-owned, farmer-run cooperative. Each week, our cooperative selects the best veggies from our 20 farmer-members to provide you with a box that is unmatched in its quality, variety, freshness and delicousness!

CSA Veggie box and making this work smoothly

A Veggie Box membership is a unique relationship between you and the Snoqualmie Valley Farmers Cooperative. As a cooperative, we commit to providing you with the best selection of locally grown produce. We are committed to healthy food, a healthy planet, and food safety.

When you become a member, you reap the benefits of farmers love for their work. And like any good relationship, there are commitments from both parties! As a member, we ask you to commit to:

  1. Pick up your box each week at your site during the allotted time window (you’ll receive confirmations and reminders by email).

  2. Leave the wax box your veggies come in at the pick-up site and bring a bag to transfer your veggies to. If you take your wax box with you, return it to your pick-up site the following week so that we can reuse it.

  3. Call or notify us if you cannot pick up your box. A friend or neighbor can always pick up on your behalf. If nobody picks up your veggies, they will be donated or redistributed.

  4. Share your feedback, farm experiences and recipes with us on Facebook or at snovalleycoop@gmail.com.

What is a Winter Veggie box Membership?

A Winter Veggie Box Membership buys you 8 weeks of locally grown, carefully-curated produce that is delivered to a pick up site near you!

Where is the Snoqualmie Valley?

Situated at the base of the Cascade Foothills, the Snoqualmie Valley runs from North Bend up to the confluence of the Skykomish and Snoqualmie Rivers at Monroe. Its special status as a flood-way makes it home to incredibly productive farmland. Located just 25 miles from Seattle, the Snoqualmie Valley is one of the metropolitan area's closest actively farmed areas. Learn more here!

Can I visit the Farms?

Yes! The Savor Snoqualmie Valley Brochure provides a map and other information about how to come out for a visit. We also plan to host a farm tour for our CSA members in the fall.
